Tucson Advertising Federation 28th Annual ADDY® Awards Competition Call for Entries
The Tucson Advertising Federation has issued its Call for Entries for the 28th annual ADDY Awards Competition. This competition recognizes exceptional advertising created in the Tucson metropolitan and Southern Arizona market. The ADDY Awards honor advertising excellence in all media including print, broadcast, out-of-home and public service advertising.

2009 Careerbuilder Diversity Careerfair
The Tucson Indian Center and Tucson.com Classifieds have scheduled the 19th Annual Diversity Careerfair to take place on Wednesday January 14, 2009 at the Tucson Convention Center Galleria. The Job Fair will run from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM will feature approximately 80 Tucson employers.

13th Annual Tucson Association of REALTORS® Dream Builders Playhouse Raffle
This year the Holiday Gingerbread House Playhouse will be delivered at 8:00 am on Monday November 17, 2008 to the Ross Court at Foothills Mall. Our Playhouse is sponsored by the Tucson Association of REALTORS® will be set up behind Santa. Tickets to win the playhouse and $1000 shopping spree will go on sale on November 22, 2008, when Santa arrives at the Mall. There will also be a $500 and 2 $250 shopping sprees for Foothills Mall awarded. The drawing will take place on December 24, 2008 at Noon. Tickets will be sold 3 for $5 and can be purchased at the mall, from The Hearth web site (www.thehearthfoundation.org), at the Tucson Association of REALTORS®, or from any board member listed on our web site.

NYE Jazz All Stars
Over 1500 people from throughout the United States, Canada and the U.K. celebrated last
New Year's Eve with the Tucson Jazz Society and the great team at JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa. "This year's event will again feature a number of world class, award winning artists together for an historic jazz encounter, states Executive Director Patricia Possert, ‘Reservations from jazz lovers around the world for the 2008 Jazz All Stars Gala are coming in way ahead of numbers received at this time last year."

University Medical Center signs on as Presenting Sponsor of Tucson Festival of Books
Tucson-based University Medical Center has agreed to become the presenting sponsor of the inaugural Tucson Festival of Books. The event will be held March 13-15, 2009, on the University of Arizona campus.
